Note: This is an example topic to show how a Roleplay post can be set out, but that doesn't mean you cannot participate in this one too!

Setting: Race track(s), Locker Room, Garage.

Description: The December championship is in full swing, and several races have already taken place. The scores are tightening up and everyone is becoming more nervous by the day.

This roleplay focuses on the championship and everyone's feelings on how they are doing. Are you over-confident, or a bit resided? Do you think you'll do well in the upcoming races?

Focusing on about the races you are encouraged to speak about your feelings as if you were the actual team manager. Don't forget to speak about your cars, and team members too of course - every little thing adds to the roleplay.

Your also welcome to discuss the situation with the races, however please use actual results.

Custom Rules: None to speak of.


The posts do not have to be as long as my example below, however obviously the more detail you can put into a post the better it is to read!

* Visible sweat was seen on Aquawolve's forehead as the last race came to an end and the results gradually came in.

Twenty-First place. Another poor result from his team, or perhaps the vehicle?
Berold Forth had been behind the wheel of a fully tuned AngeloDiFuoco with four customised X4 Tunings making it one of the fastest vehicles on the track. Berold was one of the fastest drivers with a huge record of training, but with a lack of experience.

Was it really Berold that let him down once again? Perhaps his skeleton-like body was too frail at this stage to take on such speeds that were needed to win in these championships. Perhaps a temporary replacement was needed to let him recover?

Aquawolves sighed as he continued to review the rest of the results .. "Another win for Shurac's team, eh? An easy win too looking at the times."

18 minutes, 59 seconds.
Just 10 seconds away from beating the track record held by his own team.

Heading away to the locker room I thought to myself how to best deal with the situation. Who should I send out next? Should I replace Berold?

Several questions at once were all running around in my head as I arrived at the door. I was expecting the other team members to be arguing and complaining at Berold for the lost, or perhaps Air Grag for not maintaining the Angelo properly.

Perhaps strangely though, what I heard was the exact opposite of what was expected! They were all laughing - not in torment, but in fun and were each wishing good luck to Berold for next time, and giving him tips about the next circuit of Bristol.

With a renewed heart hearing the joy of the team I decided to enter the room and add to their joys. "Well done, Berold!" I shouted as I entered the room, "A pity about the loss, but we still earned points for finishing." I added, soon after offering him a position in the next round, which he greatfully accepted.

"Don't think that means it isn't going to be easy-going for the rest of you however! You all have races to get ready for including Cups, and Clan Races so get to work!" I shout with a laughter of my own around the room.

"Yes indeed. There's nothing better then a team that respect you, and that you can respect them." he mumbles to himself as he exits the room slowly returning to a nearby hotel to prepare the paperwork for the team's routine over the next few days.

Ah... another championship. Is there anything else that can test your best teams? Surely not. Top players with their highly tuned cars, most experienced drivers and well trained mechanics against each other on track!

Can You feel the tense in the air? Everyone is looking for top rewards and please don't believe if anyone says he don't want any of them.

Main problem for every driver director is to choose. Everyone has well trained drivers as well as highly experienced ones, but which will do better?

Yxil decided to choose his best Silver Siggi to drive in first two races with well trained Hellen Faster in her most liked car... really fast Wild Cat with four X tunings.

Unfortunatelly for him they drove far below average with times that can be compared to times of well tuned Cool Blues.

Before third race situation was clear enough to try. There was just one option for him to stay in battle for top positions. Deep in the garage stayed rarest vehicle over whole England. Pride and biggest problem in one. Despite great acceleration and highest top speed of all cars driving this car can be compared to high speed off-road race.

The only driver who could have made it was Brain. With 38 championship race on his account and many wins in cup races he was best for this. He had required training and lots of experience with such races. He knew the risk, but he was calm.

When the race started he did it quick to top 2 and stayed there until last lap, when suddenly JoeBars team overtook him.

But it doesn't matter now. He scored 40 points to general classification and our team still have chance to win.

Sitting high up above the race track in one of the management boxes Aquawolves was sat attempting to find his own team among all the vehicles on the track.

There werent that many racing, only about ninety-five or so, but with the sheer speeds they were all going at, it looked more like a disaster waiting to happen. Only the most experienced drivers would usually even dare participate in a championship.

He had hoped Skull would have learned his lesson after the last race, and so far his hopes have held up. Looking at his watch he quietly read the time aloud to himself "five forty-two". Just over five hours until the end of the race and his team was at position 12.

Almost distaught he looked through the paperwork he had brought with him. "I have sound confidence in Air Grag, but perhaps a substitution in the next race for Arnold would help our performance? Berold needs the experience, that's not in question. But Arnold already has the experience in the bigger vehicles to handle it better."

Still confident in his team Aquawolves made up his mind. He would swap the teams in time for the next championship hopefully in an effort to pull a rabbit out of the hat and win back a couple of points.

After the last race his team had only earned 37 points in total, and was down to 31st on the scoreboard compared to the Leader who had 126 Points.

After a while he let out a long sigh, trying to remember the days when he used to race rather then just manage the teams. He'll still take over when given the chance but this was a career move from driving test vehicles up to management level.

There was no doubt racing was dangerous, especially at championship level, but there is no substitution for the sheer excitement you get from been behind the wheel or even the fast paced action in pit-stops. Almost every driver and mechanic on the teams was in their position for love of the job rather then the income it provided; there was always plenty of job security too ...

Aquawolves was soon snapped back into reality as a voice came on over the speaker. Berold was bringing the AngeloDiFuoco in for a quick pit-stop and refuel in the next lap.

Shaking himself down quickly he practically ran down to the Garage to give Air Grag and his team a hand with the equipment check. By no means was he afraid to get his hands dirty ...

End of this championship...
Mediocre results (54th place) were not surprising for Alekz, but it was better than nothing...
His mechanic career ended few years ago as a complete disaster.
It has his great moments as a mechanic of AZLK cars though. All custom tunnings, knowledge of engines and lack of fear to try new things made cars tunned by him unbeatable in a couple of big championships and road competitions. They were a great success even in half-legal winter street racing tournaments made in Siberia, despites the rear wheels driving.
But then... newer and more performant cars overwhelmed the tracks and nothing could made old carburator engines really compete with them... and his carreer started going down... From world and country championships to city ones and then again to half-legal drag races made by enthousiasts. It was enough to live - he was the best with this kind of cars and no one participated in such races with really expensive cars anyway, so Moskwitches tunned by him still won most of the races.
But anyone knew it's a dead end. New cars from the AZLK company were not really better than old ones and sometimes even worse... And at some point the whole AZLK company collapsed and disappeared Sad
It was hard to survive this... Spare parts still could be found here and there, but even biggest fans started looking for differents cars. It seemed to be the end of a glorious career...
So Alekz decided to try something new and founded its own racing team. He hired a couple of low level drivers and mechanics, trying to help them as much as possible... Bought some cheap, old cars with carburator engines and made its best to get the maximum from them. It was all about money - better drivers and mechanics wouldn't go in a startup team and he couldn't manage to tune up better cars by himself - he just hadn't the knowledge for this...
Hundreds of races were made taking last places and very slowly and carefully increasing the number of teams and the quality of cars. At some point he even managed to get B license with a half coined IB-V8. This allowed him to start buying B license cars, but again very carefully - garage places and team lockers were not cheap... each of them valued to aroung 600 000 R$ and often even more. It required weeks of racing to get a single garage place and often there were not enough money to buy a valuable car after this... Fortunately many other players helped him - Lessbian, Ghost, Pablo and several others, so it wasn't completely unmanageable. (Thanks to all of You guys and girls Smile
All the time one step to bancrupt - that wasn't easy, but he survived and even subscribed to the championship. Impossible to win any prise with a half coined IB-V8, but still an important event to participate in and just declare such a team existed. 54th place with 22 points only was a mediocre result, yes, but he was confident now - his career srarted over and after a few championships he would be able again to compete with the best players - not as a mechanic this time, but as manager of the growing AZLK team!
